About Jeremy

I have served as a deputy with the Curry County Sheriff's Office, as Emergency Manager, and as a Forest Officer and wildland firefighter with Coos Forest Protective Agency. My training and experience have provided me with the honor of working alongside our communities First Responders. 

For the past five years, I have been honored to serve as President of Gold Beach Little League, coaching and organizing for hundreds of local kids while teaching values like teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. I'm also a certified sports official for the Oregon School Activities Association, ensuring fair play and positive experiences at football, volleyball, basketball, and baseball/softball games from Reedsport to Crescent City.

Today, our Sheriff's Office faces tough challenges from budget constraints that have left it operating on bare bones—fewer resources mean risks to the safety we all depend on. I speak from experience having worked for Sheriff's John Bishop and John Ward. We have to mend bridges and put higher priority on supporting our deputies to keep our families safe. 

I am running to prioritize public safety, foster better collaboration between the Board and local law enforcement, and bring our community back together. Curry County is home to my family and yours—let's build a safer, stronger future for everyone in Gold Beach, Brookings, Port Orford, Langlois, and beyond.
