Curry County Comes First. Always.

Before I became a candidate, I was a deputy, wildland firefighter, emergency manager, coach, and Little League volunteer. I am a devoted husband and father to five amazing kids.

Like many families in Curry County, my family and I care deeply about the future of our community. We want safe neighborhoods, opportunities for our children, a strong local economy, and a county government that listens to the people it serves.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving others during some of their most challenging moments. Whether responding to emergencies, helping neighbors through difficult situations, coaching young athletes, or volunteering in our community, I have learned that the best leaders start by listening.

For the past five years, I have served as President of Gold Beach Little League and as an OSAA sports official, working alongside families, volunteers, and student-athletes. Those experiences have reinforced what I've always believed: strong communities are built when people come together, support one another, and have a voice in shaping the future.

That is why I am running for Curry County Commissioner.

I believe county government should be accessible, transparent, and accountable to the people it serves. Residents deserve to be informed, included, and heard on the decisions that affect their families, businesses, and communities.

I am not a career politician. I am a husband, father, volunteer, and community member who believes Curry County's greatest strength is its people. My commitment is simple: listen first, lead with integrity, and always put Curry County first.

My priorities are:

  • Protect public safety—government’s first duty
  • Support law enforcement and first responders
  • Ensure transparent, accountable county government
  • Budget responsibly without raising taxes
  • Support timber, fishing, and tourism as the backbone of our economy
  • Protect our coastline from over-industrialization
  • Defend our constitutional and second amendment rights
  • Support veterans and service members
  • Work toward real solutions for homelessness focusing on giving a hand up, not handouts

These priorities are not slogans. They reflect what I have lived and what I will fight for on the Board of Commissioners — practical leadership that serves every resident, regardless of party.

Top Priority: Public Safety

Your County. Your Voice.

County government works best when residents understand what is being discussed, have an opportunity to participate, and know their concerns are being taken seriously. When decisions are made without meaningful public engagement, trust begins to erode.

I have spent my career listening to people, solving problems, and bringing different groups together during some of our community's most challenging moments. As your commissioner, I will bring that same approach to county government.

That means asking questions, encouraging open discussion, and making sure decisions are made in the light of day. Most importantly, it means listening to the people who live, work, raise families, and own businesses in Curry County.

This isn't about politics or personalities. It is about building a county government that is accessible, accountable, and responsive to the people it serves.

Before There Was a Campaign — There Was a Commitment.

Last year, I stood before the Board of Commissioners during the appointment process for this same position. There were no yard signs, no headlines, and no momentum. Just a belief that Curry County deserved steady leadership, accountability, and a renewed focus on Curry County public safety. I meant every word then, and I mean them even more now. This clip is from that meeting — long before our campaign officially began.

It Starts With Neighbors Like You!

Curry County is at its best when neighbors come together. This campaign has never been about one person. It is about building a team of people who care about our communities, believe in honest leadership, and want to help shape a stronger future for Curry County. Whether you can volunteer at an event, put up a yard sign, make phone calls, share updates online, or simply stay informed, there is a place for you on Team Curry. Every conversation matters. Every helping hand matters. Every voice matters. If you believe Curry County deserves leadership that listens, serves, and puts our community first, we would be honored to have you join us. Together, we can build the future Curry County deserves.
